
Former Sunshine Stars player, Kehinde Adedipe has said that the outbreak of coronavirus pandemic has helped him diversify from football to farming.
The Akure born midfielder, in an interview with Sporting Hope said he has been using the COVID-19 hiatus to engage in other activities such as learning tailoring, building materials and farming.
He stated that the corona pandemic afforded him the opportunity spend much time with his families and friends.
According to him, "I also ensure I keep myself fit with personal training ahead of next season."
Adedipe, said Enugu Rangers missing on the CAF Champions league weighed him down saying the target of the team was to win either Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) or Aiteo Cup and get the continental ticket.
The optimistic Adedipe added that with God on the side of the team, their target of continental ticket will be achieved next season.
He reminiscent on his encounter with his former team Sunshine Stars at the Ondo State Sports Complex, Akure the state capital saying it was a warmed reception from the Akure fans.
He said; "I felt good played against my hometown club and my former team, it gave me joy to see my friends and families coming around to cheer me up, Akure fans are wonderful," he said.
He admonished his colleagues and upcoming players to be disciplined, adding that hard work coupled with fervent prayers is the way to the top.
