The Ondo state governor, Mr. Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) has approved the constitution of the Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission (ODIEC).
According to a release signed by the Chief Press Secretary to the governor, Segun Ajiboye on Tuesday, the newly constituted commission is expected to be headed by Prof Yomi Dinakin.
Others according to the list include are : Dr Soji Omowole, Oladele Akinyelure (Esq), Tunde Adeyeye, Mrs Stella Omotosho, Taku Ibrahim (Esq) and Rotimi Olorunfemi
Ajiboye further added that the list containing the seven names would be sent to the State House of Assembly for confirmation.
SUNSHINE HERALD recalled that the state house of assembly had added N2 billion to the 2018 budget presented before it by the governor, stating it was for the conduct of the local government election.
