Ebira Community across the State on Saturday, declared Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa as their preferred choice ahead of the Governorship election coming up in 14 days.
Addressing the gathering in Owo, Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Usman Ododo who led the Ebira indigenes, noted that the community in one accord have decided to support Governor Aiyedatiwa's candidature.
Ododo commended President Tinubu for his interest in youths, bringing them on board and giving them the opportunity to participate in governance at various levels.
He also appreciated the Governor Aiyedatiwa for recognising the Ebira indigenes, especially youths. He assured him that the people will make him proud during the election through their votes.
Governor Ododo said " the Ebira community stands with you; we are here in solidarity because we believe in continuity."
He commended the Governor for upholding the legacies and continuing the good work of late Governor Akeredolu.
Reacting, Governor Aiyedatiwa, noted that the President has always been passionate and interested in Ondo State and has never wavered in his support
He appreciated Governor Ododo for his presence in Ondo State, his support and sacrifice to the State and for his fairness during the APC primary election in April 20, 2024, as the Chairman electoral committee.
He assured the Ebira Community of inclusiveness in his administration and a government where everyone's voice will be heard.
