Robbers attack APC scribe, Youth parliament Speaker in Ondo

Armed robbers have attacked the Deputy Publicity Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (,APC),  Ayodele Oladimeji, Speaker of Ondo State Youth Parliament, Smith Ikumapayi and one Ariyo Vincent.


The trio were attacked on Wednesday night at Ologede junction, Oda Road, Akure. 


They were said to be discussing when two robbers approached them where they parked their official vehicles.


While narrating his ordeal on his Facebook page, the APC chieftain said, the robbers demanded for money. 


He said, "We parked at the junction and were discussing inside the car. All of a sudden, we heard;" where is the money"? Where is all the money you have? Just like a joke or movie, we felt it could be a prank from one of our friends. 


"Upon sighting the two men from both ends of the car with guns, like choir members reciting a chorus, the trio of us shouted "There is no money here, I swear to God" 😁 


"We gave them our phones and they rejected it. All they wanted was money. One of the guys immediately hit the bottom of the gun on my head, then moved back and pointed the gun at me. 


"Out of anger that there was no money, same guy jumped on the car and hit the windscreen with his boot. It was messy".


Oladimeji said he later reported the matter at a police station.


He added "On getting to the police station, we were told another report of robbery came in from same  environ (Ologede) and a bike man was shot dead".
