Open Letter 2 Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN.

Dear Arakunrin,
"Arakunrin" is the appellation you have chosen for yourself. Quite unique and very distinct. In this wise, I would follow the order of preference, conform, and comply with the standard of address going forward.
Arakunrin, I have observed with keen interest the recent development in and around your campaign. So far, the analyst in me would be making obvious references as regards the movement across the state. Keenly, we have observed your affable reception in towns and communities. Especially, the kick off.
Carefully, and without prejudice, it is an established fact that Ese-Odo through your eminent & distinguished team got the rousing ovation incidental to welcoming the 4+4 campaign slogan. It was a crowd unprecedented, it was a gathering of people readily available to hear their Governor speak. Perhaps, your sincerity among other things is what they crave. It is obvious they warmly received you without hiccups.
After Ese-Odo, I have equally, and manifestly seen you appear with your team of impeccable character, stakeholders & diverse personalities, storming Ileoluji. Of course, it was a rainy day like the shower of blessings that heralded the campaign inauguration where everyone despite the rain stood firmly, in pomp and pageantry with high sense of humour, expecting your arrival including the availability of the National Leader, Bola Ahmed Tinubu of Lagos State and hitherto, Nigeria. Something, again, must have necessitated this love. Perhaps your act of courage and boldness.
Consequently, we have also witnessed your arrival in Akoko, and the point of call was our famous and commercial city, Ikare Akoko. Not without some hitches though, you were already at the palace when information got to you as alleged, that crisis had again enveloped Oba Akoko. How unfortunate, and most regrettably sad that campaign vehicles were set ablaze by arsonists. Yet, in quick response, you issued a press statement titled "let Eyitayo Jegede Esn rein in his PDP while you control the APC…". In your usual style, you didn't apportion blame or seek to bring down the opposition.
You made a balanced reportage, appealing to all fray nerves to rethink the interest of Ondo State beyond violence. Although the scene of carnage left a bad impression of the host community, Oba Akoko. I make bold to say it wasn't the good people of Oba Akoko who instigated or incited and manifestly orchestrated violence. It was, perhaps as alleged some aggressive, loyal and overzealous apologists across the two political party. In what otherwise could be described as needless show of strength.
It could have been avoided if the roster for campaign follows the strictest requirements and scrutiny to avoid the unthinkable. I, therefore, like to say that Oba Akoko, the ancient community where I hail from is peace-loving. Not until recently, we have never had cases of needless crisis in this community. Nevertheless, I assure you all is well haven contacted leaders of the community.
Above is the synopsis of the "stimulus and response" of the people towards the ongoing campaign. I am not unaware of the activities at Irele local government and other places you have traverse since the campaign began. The warmth reception and beautiful outing among other encouraging traits have lifted the spirit in many lovers of good Governance as demonstrated by your leadership and apparently reflected in the smiles you wear. The smile is figurative and instructive, it suggests confidence, smart work and a feeling of satisfaction among other things. How the people demonstrated love and exhibited confidence in your leadership is not a mystery either. Ondo State is reputed for honesty!
Sometimes, silence is consent. It is evident that the social media has again witnessed a touch of huge presence and the atmosphere is peaceful.
Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN may I quickly inform you and of course, I verily admit that you know the potency of good character. This is how you relish and revel in the character of Omoluabi which is why the good people of Ondo State and stakeholders in their numbers are daily joining the struggle. I have just been inundated with calls that one Hon Makinde from Ondo has equally joined the vanguard for good governance.
Nothing sells better than the character of Omoluabi which you imbibed and evidently displayed during your stewardship. It is a lesson to other politicians, especially the youth of this generation to seek justice, fairness, equity and above all, laced up with honesty, integrity, courage, frankness and sincerity of purpose. This, perhaps among other things is the magic wand. You have elevated our sincere advocacy for humanity
Courageously, I repeat "Head or tail, Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, SAN is fated for victory"
The society had since lost the genuine concept and consciousness of Omoluabi, but God perhaps sent you to reawaken our consciousness. You have proven through the character of Omoluabi, that "Qui cera cera ", a Latin word is rooted in the most sincere character of a man. That, after man's effort in good character, God crowns and wears him or, her up with the apparel of honour. As an accomplished advocate, you stood and did the unthinkable for the people of South-west, Nigeria with the regional Amotekun . Very unique, admirable and impressive to see a Senior Advocate of Nigeria proving his mettle.
We have no regret in your leadership and the stakeholders, our good people of Ondo State in the majority have no regret either. It is the good of the greatest number according to John Locke. Therefore, persist the people's campaign and dwarf adversaries. It shall end well, amen.
Yours-in-Struggle,
Faseesin Esq
