The All Progressive Congress party's stalwarts in Ose Local Government of Ondo state have mobilised party members and people ahead of the state governor, Arakunrin Oluwaroimi Akeredolu's rally coming up on Monday in the local government.
The party gladiators who stormed Irekari axis of the local government on today canvassed for the re-election of the governor in Afo, Imeri, Idogun and Idoani communities.
Speaking at the venues, the Ondo state Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Dotun Owanikin Esq. urged the party members to canvass well for the governor to ensure that he wins convincingly than he did in the previous election where the local government came second in percentage rating.

The Member Representing Owo/Ose in the Federal House of Representatives, Hon. Timehin Adelegbe urged the people not to fight the oppositions but ensure they woo them to their side.
He noted that the election is the first that all the leaders in the party are working together for a common cause and the onus lies on all to increase the votes for the governor.
In the same vein, the DG Aketi Campaign Organisation in Owo/Ose local governmernent, Mr Oyato Aribo, urged the people to come out and receive the governor on Monday assuring the supporters that more attention would be given to the local government in his second term.
He said the Governor would ensure that LCDA will be created in which the communities will benefit tremedously.

The DG reiterated that the governor has won the election already but the people needed not to be complacent and therefore ensure that they and others vote for the APC.
The Local Government Executive Chairman, Mr Dennis Adekunle used the medium to clarify that there was no rift among the party leaders as all are working for the same cause.
He said since performance may dictate how the dividends may be shared, there's the need to vote massively for the governor in order to reap bountifully.
Also, the Special Assistant to the Governor on Mobilisation, Mr Olusola Okun urged the party members to shun violence but ensure they beat the oppositions with massive votes.
The Vice Chairman of the Local Government Council, Mrs Christiana Olufowose urged the women to stand with Aketi for the second term bid.

It was a cannival-like reception at the venues especially in Idoani and Idogun communities as members also trooped out to sing various political songs in favour of the re-election of the governor.
The party faithful assured the leaders of working assiduosly for the party in order not to lose out from the benefits in the governor's second term.
The rally witnessed some members of the opposition's Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) who defected to APC in Idoani and stated that the party should be ready to formally receive about two hundred of them in the next rally.
