Alasoadura, Aiyedatiwa, Otetubi, Others, Join “Akure One To One” Group To Drum Support For Akeredolu’s Reelection

Political bigwigs mostly from Akure, the Ondo State capital on Sunday joined thousands of other political canvassers across the All Progressive Congress (APC) to canvass votes for Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu, candidate of the party in October 10, guber polls.

Among the dignitaries in attendance include Sen.Tayo Alasoadura, the deputy governor designate, Hon. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, the Commissioner for Natural Resources, Hon. Idowu Otetubi, chairman of the state branch of the NURTW, Comrade Adebo, among others.

The Minister, while addressing party faithful, charged the electorate to turn out without fear of intimidation or harassment to vote and stay back to defend their votes.

He urged eligible voters to vote for the All Progressive Congress to enable the Akeredolu administration consolidate on its achievements in the first term.

Also speaking, Hon. Aiyedatiwa urged party members to remain faithful as their labour of love and hard work will be duly rewarded in due season.

Sharing from his personal experience, Hon. Aiyedatiwa said having worked assiduously for the emergence of APC in the state, he never gave up hope but continued in good faith.

The convener of the group, Otunba Mayokun Lawson- Alade from ward 3, in Akure South Local Government said the group, Akure One For One was conceptualized to together all canvassers from all the units and wards across the local government in order to encourage them to continue the good work.

While noting that Governor Akeredolu has done creditably well during his first term in office, Otunba Alade urged them to go back to their various location and continue to canvass massively for APC in order for the Governor to be able to consolidate on the work done.

In a chat with journalists, Hon. Lade Fasua, one of the prominent sons of Akure who recently decamped to the party said he and his supporters among others are on ground to lend their support and to attest to the fact that the Governor has done tremendously well and a vote for the APC will indeed count for welfarism and good governance.

He further urged the people to massively vote for the APC led government for continuity during the coming polls.
