One of the governorship Aspirants, Chief Olusola Oke has reacted to the adoption of indirect primary for the Monday July 20 APC governorship primary and the visit of the party's reconciliation committee.

Oke also described the visit of the Reconciliation Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the state, led by the Governor of Niger State, Abubakar Sanni Bello as a wasted efforts because there was nothing new in the meeting.

Oke was first absent from the meeting held in Akure but later came after the governor had left the meeting.

Oke claimed that he didn't get the notice of the meeting on time.

Addressing newsmen in Akure, Oke said, "from the briefing I received from those who attended the meeting, there's nothing new in the meeting.

However, the APC chieftain said, "I won't boycott the election on Monday so that I can have locus to challenge it. I don't boycott any election. It is not in my character and is not advisable.

"Under the electoral law if you boycott or you don't participate, you cannot challenge."
