Ondo State Police Command has arrested a four-man gang for kidnapping a 4-year old boy.
The suspects, Efe John, Pius David Udoh, Justine Anthony and John Cletus were alleged to have kidnapped the boy named Chidozie Nnanna Okafor in Ofosu, Ose LGA of the state.
Parading is the suspects before newsmen in Akure on Friday, Police Public Relations Officer, PPRO, Femi Joseph said the boy spent 18 days in the kidnappers den.
He was realesed after a ransom of N600, 000 was paid by his parents.
Speaking with journalists, one of the suspects, Efe John confirmed their involvement in the crime.
"It is true that we kidnapped the boy in Ofosu and we contacted his parent for ransom.They gave us six hundred thousand naira and we released the boy. Here we are today,we have been arrested by the police," he said.
Joseph noted that upon completion of investigations, the suspects will be arraigned in court.
