Pregnant women are at the moment protesting at the Ondo State Specialist Hospital, Akure over outrageous medical bill.
The protesting expectant mothers numbering about 150 want Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu to urgently reverse N25,000 charge for delivery.
They are currently disrupting operations at Ante-natal section of the hospital.
Asides the delivery charge, CS which was hitherto free, now cost N50,000.
According to some of them who spoke with newsmen, other unjustified charges ranging from N500 to N4000 are being collected from them by the hospital's officials on the order of the state government.
It will be recalled that pregnant women and their children below 5years enjoyed free medical services under Previous administration of Olusegun Mimiko in the state.
