President Muhammadu Buhari has returned to Nigeria after eight days abroad.
Buhari's plane touched down at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja at about 7pm yesterday.
The President was received at the airport by his Chief of Staff, Abba Kyari, the Minister of Federal Capital Territory, Muhammad Bello, the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris, among other dignitaries.
Buhari after attending the 72nd session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York had a stop over London where he spent about four days before returning to Nigeria.
Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state, his Ebonyi and Zamfara states counterparts, Dave Umahi, and Abdulaziz Yari who were part of his entourage also returned with him.
