Akeredolu sets up committee to look into activities of OSRC, Orange FM during Mimiko’s regime

The Governor of Ondo State, Mr. Rotimi Akeredolu, SAN has constituted a five man panel to look into the activities of the Ondo State Radiovision Corporation (OSRC) and Orange FM in the last four years.

The Governor in a statement by his Chief Press Secretary, Mr Segun Ajiboye on Monday, said the terms of reference of the panel include taking over of the day to day running of the two government owned media organisations, reorganize and reposition them for greater efficiency.

According to Ajiboye, members of the panel include Mr Kunle Adebayo as Chairman, Mr soji Alakuro, Mrs Ireti Ojekhoa, Mr Steve Alabi and Mr Tubosun Isijola as Secretary.

He said the panel will also examine the transactions carried out by OSRC and Orange FM in the last four years, take inventory of all assets and liabilities of the two agencies as well as look into the possibility of merging of them together.

The statement added that the panel will also make recommendations to the government on the listed terms of reference and other matters necessary and submit it's report in two months.
