10th year remembrance anniversary of the former Governor of Ondo State and Presidential candidate of the Alliance for Democrary (AD) during the 2007 Presidential election, Late Chief Adebayo Adefarati, will start on Wednesday March 29 and be rounded off on Saturday April 1, 2017.
Adefarati served as Governor of the state between 1999 and 2003.
A statement by the Media and Publicity Secretary of the 10th year remembrance anniversary, Mr Akogun Omole, said family, friends and political associates of the late governor will celebrate him by organisng a befiting anniversary for him.
Late Adefarati was the Presidential candidate on the platform of the Alliance for Democrary (AD) during the 2007 Presidential polls.
The astute politician was a two term Commissioner under the late Chief Micheal Adekunle Ajasin, the first civilian governor of Ondo State.
He died on March 29, 2007 at the age of 80. He was survived by wife, Adetutu and children.
