All is now set for the Maiden Edition of a debate programme for all contestants in the coming election of Ondo State Football Association tagged ONDO FOOTBALL MATTERS ".
The debate organised by the Ondo State chapter of the Sport Writers Association of Nigeria is to give aspiring candidates for position of Chairman of the State Football Association the opportunity to inform the football fraternity the plans they have to develop the round leather Game in the state.
Chairman of the Debate Committee, Segun Giwa said all contestants and relevant stakeholders have indicate their interest to be part of the epoc making event.
"This is the first of its kind in the state and Nigeria at large. As stakeholders in the sporting sector, we are setting an agenda as watchdog in the sporting world," he said.
The event holds on monday 8th March 2021 at the NUJ press centre,Behind Adegbemile cultural centre,Akure,Ondo state by 10am.
All invited guests are urged to come on time as there will be no African time.
