Despite completing his tenure as the Ondo State Deputy Governor, Hon. Agboola Ajayi is still in possession of some official vehicles attached to his former office.
Ajayi whose tenure ended on the 23rd February, 2021, it was gathered has not returned some official vehicles in his possession
This information was obtained through a letter from the office of the state head of service.
The letter addressed to the former deputy governor dated 16th February, 2021 indicated that he had been enjoined to submit to the General Administration Department of the Governor's office, all government properties in his possession including vehircles and other movable and immovable assets on it before 23rd February, 2021.
Three weeks after his tenure ended, Ajayi was still in possession of government vehicles.
Another letter, which was also sighted by our reported, was said to have been addressed to the former deputy Governor with the tittle "Re: Submission of All Government Properties".
The letter which was dated 1st March,2021 showed that Ajayi was still in possession of one Land Cruiser SUV and two New Toyota Hilux.
