Starnews Nigeria reports that the PDP chieftain met with the Lawmaker on Monday in Abuja, the Federal Capital Territory.
Obanla said he does not want Auga-Akoko community to be left behind amidst notable and wonderful changes experienced by the people of the Federal Constituency due to the emergence of Bunmi Tunji-Ojo popularly known as BTO.
The PDP Chieftain said BTO has brought remarkable development to his constituency, within a very short period of time.
Obanla described the Lawmaker as a digital and a new generational Lawmaker who is progressive in ideas.
He said: "I have come to remind Hon. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo about his promise to rehabilitate township roads in Auga Akoko community. I have also come to request for the rebuilding of the dilapidated Examination Hall and a block of 12 classrooms of Auga-Akoko Community Secondary School."
"We cannot close our eyes while other areas of the Constituency are getting their rightful dues and we wait behind on the ground of political affiliations", he said.
Hon. Tunji-Ojo appreciated Bode Obanla for the visit. The Lawmaker said: "Obanla is a major political gladiator in my Federal Constituency whose influence cannot be ignored without consequences. I do not make empty promises, the Auga township road would have been ready for Commissioning by now if not for the bridge that separates the town from the neighbouring community. Despite this, l can assure you that by June this year, the job will be ready," the Lawmaker said while responding to the visit.
Concerning the block of 12 classrooms, the Lawmaker said it will be ready for Commissioning in June 2021. However, he said the Examination Hall would be accommodated in subsequent projects.
