Impeached Deputy Speaker of the Ondo State House of Assembly, Ogundeji Iroju has lamented the non payment of his entitlements by the leadership of the house.
Iroju and four others were suspended by the house leadership in June in the wake of the botched impeachment of the state deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi
Dissatisfied with their suspension, the lawmakers approached the court to seek redress.
The court later quashed their suspension and asked the assembly to pay their entitlements.
Iroju on his Facebook page wondered why the assembly has refused to obey the court order .
He said, " This shenanigans must stop. Despite Court order, the Speaker and his cohorts refused to pay our entitlements all because we declined to sign illegal impeachment notice", he said.
The former deputy speaker is also challenging his impeachment in court.
He described his impeachment as a ruse
