As Ondo governorship election day approaches, the PDP gubernatorial candidate in the state in his quest to take over the Alagbaka government house has taken his campaign to Akoko North East to solicit for the support and vote of the people. Eyitayo Jegede who is a former Attorney General during the administration of former governor Olusegun Mimiko got a warm reception from the people of Akoko East.

Recall that he once contested in 2016 but lost to the incumbent governor of the state Governor Akeredolu of All Progressive Congress.
Eyitayo while speaking to the people said he believed that a new season of ease is about to be berth in Ondo state. He appreciated everyone who came out to receive him so dearly and admonished them to vote massively for Peoples Democratic Party come October 10 so that his dreams and aspirations for the good people of Ondo state can be fulfilled.
