In his statement, the Barrister said he joins other members of the People Democratic Party family in Ondo State and Nigeria at large to congratulate our party and all the aspirants that decisively entered the party primary ring on the outcome of the keenly contested primary adjudged as the fairest and freest of all.
The joy that our party is further building on the pedestal of internal democracy we're known for is the utmost reason the great and good people Ondo State should see our party as the striking alternative.
I must confess, the contest was so instructive because there were no anointed candidates as seen in other political parties. This is enough to tell all critical stakeholders in the Ondo State projects that the Interest of the people is much more prioritized than any individual or group interests. Our party has come to reclaim her place of pride in the comity of political parties in Nigeria.
On this note, I humbly congratulate our newly betrothed beautiful bride of the Ondo State people, Eyitayo Jegede SAN on his well-deserving victory at the just concluded primary of our great party. However, I believe for the greater good of all, you will be magnanimous in victory. Embrace all to birth an all-inclusive strategy towards getting the party to the seat of power in the October 20 election.
To all the aspirants, you have indeed shown you're true party Stewarts. You have put up a good fight and the result will be reverberating in history to come. Join hands with the party candidate to give our party the needed edge to coast home to victory come October 20.
