All appear to be set for the Ondo state Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi to finally dump the All Progressives Congress to contest for the October 10, Governorship election under the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party.
THENEWSTRACK gathered that having met with the national leadership of the PDP, Agboola may likely move with his supporters this week.

There is a cold war between Agboola and Governor Rotimi Akeredolu which has remained irresolvable.
Already, six aspirants have purchased nomination forms to contest in the governorship primaries slated for July 22.
However, Agboola's rumoured and intending defection has caused dissatisfaction among some aspirants and leaders of the PDP.
The aspirants have kicked against plans to give the ticket to Agboola.
The National Vice Chairman of the Party, Eddy Olafeso who is also an aspirant, has assured that no aspirant was prepared to step down for Ondo Deputy Governor Agboola Ajayi.
Olafeso was responding to comments by a National Working Committee member of the PDP who revealed that the Deputy Governor might emerge as the candidate of the party on the condition of serving only one term in office.
He said Agboola was not yet a member of the PDP and has not collected nomination or expression of interest forms.
Another aspirant, Banjo Okunomo said the coming of Ondo Deputy Governor, Agboola Ajayi would not constitute any fear or panic in the PDP.
He stated that Agboola hails from the Ondo South, the stronghold of the PDP and also won by the PDP without the deputy governor in the last general elections.
According to him, "How would his coming to the party now constitute fear or panic when the party was winning election without him in the past. PDP doesn't impose candidate on its members and that is the beauty of democracy and the internal arrangement of the party.
"Anyone coming to join the PDP should be ready to work. There is nothing to worry about. If the deputy governor shows his interest in the governorship race, let him join in earnest and start to work because the ticket of the PDP is not for sale.
"His coming does pose any threat. I have already picked the nomination form of the party and I am ready to slug it out with other governorship aspirants at the primaries".
