You must have heard the saying that "Health is wealth"
We are in the era where Quality healthcare service delivery and innovation is becoming a highly defined option for those who are seeking new ways of reducing costs while also improving the quality of healthcare.

To this end, the Ondo State Governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu SAN, believes that the provision of good health is a basic right of every citizen. It is on this premise, that the Governor formulated different policies aimed at boosting healthcare service delivery in Ondo State as promised in his 2016 campaign promises.

Without much ado, Governor Akeredolu signed into law, the establishment of the Ondo State Contributory Health Scheme, which covers free maternal and Under 5 Children healthcare services across the three senatorial districts of the state

Also, to ensure qualitative healthcare service delivery, this government procured medical equipments worth millions of naira as part of the move to boost health care delivery in the state.

Health Workers Recruitment! It would be on record that massive recruitment of health workers was done by Governor Akeredolu's administration in the bid to improve the diagnostic and therapeutic capacities of primary health system in the state.

Governor Akeredolu has gone as far as upgrading the general hospital Akure to a Teaching Hospital for the University of Medical science, Ondo City. This is geared towards training more hands for efficient and qualitative healthcare delivery in the State.

His unbridled quest to cater for the indigenes health problems has led to the construction of Ifon General Hospital with 300 bed space which will commence work in no distant time according to the Ondo state ministry of Works.

Moreover, the Governor while presenting his 2020 budget, to the state House of Assembly, promised to construct Sunshine Medical City in Akure within the space of 48 months. What do you think will happen when this is achieved? it implies more job creation for our Medical doctors, Nurses and other health professionals.

It will be a dishonourable thing for anyone to think otherwise when it comes to ensuring that this fine man with a clean record of selfless service to the good people of Ondo state gets a second term in office to sustain all his goodwill.

Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu (SAN) is indeed the right man for this job and as such deserves one more term to sustain the redemption journey he has started in Ondo state.
