The Senior Pastor of Christ Like Assembly, Pastor Mrs. Christianah Ketiku has urged Christians world over to be mindful of the fact that the end time is nearer now than before.
She stated this in a chat with Newsmen while speaking on COVID-19 which is presently ravaging the world saying it is real.
According to her, Christians must draw nearer to God in these times as the Bible says there will be Great Tribulation – wars, pestilence and only those who are truly serving God will stand strong.
"This is the time to be strong in the Lord, not in your education, not in your strength. This is the time heaven will know whether you are a Christian or a Religious person. Being a Christian means living the life of Christ from your inside out", she added.
Pastor Ketiku also admonished the government to find ways to cushion the effect of the lock down on the people as there has been hunger in the land long before COVID-19.
On the part of the church, she said the body of Christ has found ways of assisting needy members go through the hard times.
"Our leaders must take steps to cushion the effect of this lock down. When you ask people not to open their shops, how will they survive as a family when their lives depend on it?", she further queried saying the church is praying that this phase passes quickly.
