Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, and his daughter, Teniola have been selected to work in some of committees designated to organise the national convention of the All Progressives Congress, APC scheduled to hold in June 2018 in Abuja.
While Akeredolu will serve as Deputy Chairman, South of the election sub-committee , his daughter, Teniola Akeredolu a medical doctor will serve as the Secretary of the medical sub-committee.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Secretary of the APC National Convention Committee, 2018, Senator Benjamin Uwajumogu which was electronically sent to SUNSHINE HERALD.
Also from Ondo state on the list are Dr. K. B. Shaba from Akoko South East who is a member of the medical sub-committee, and a former chairman of Ondo West local government and ex-media aide to former Governor Olusegun Mimiko, Yinka Akinyosoye who is to serve on the transport and logistics sub-committee.
The party has pegged fees for contestants for the office of National Chairman at N500, 000 while other intending National Working Committee, NWC members are to pay N250, 000.
Any person contesting for any other national offices is also to pay N100,000 into the account of the party.
