Roma pulled off a miraculous 3-0 victory over Barcelona at the Stadio Olimpico on Tuesday to overturn a 4-1 first-leg defeat in their Champions League quarter-final clash.
The victory propelled the Italian side to the Champions League semi-finals for the first time since 1984.
Although Barcelona were expected to finish Roma off easily, it was the Italians who hit the ground running with veteran midfielder Danielle De Rossi sending them on their way to victory by converting a penalty in the 13th minute.
