Student union leaders in Ondo state, led by the Student Union President of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, AAUA, Olawale Ijanusi on Wednesday held a meeting with Governor Rotimi Akeredolu.
Sunshine Herald confirmed that the meeting was in connection with the protest embarked upon by the students to fight against the hike in the fees of AAUA.
Rising from the meeting, the students resolved to suspend their three-day-old protest to allow for dialogue with the state government.
