Justice Oluwatoyin Akeredolu has been approved by the National Judicial Council (NJC) has as the chief judge of Ondo state.
Mrs. Akeredolu according to a statement by NJC's Director of Information, Soji Oye was among the 60 successful Judicial Officers recommended by the National Judicial Council at its 85th meeting to their various state governors.
SUNSHINE HERALD recalled that governor Rotimi Akeredolu had on 22nd of July, 2017 appointed Mrs Akeredolu as the Acting chief judge of Ondo state following the expiration of Justice Tayo Osoba's six month's tenure as Acting Chief Judge.
In a letter to Mrs Akeredolu, the governor said her appointment followed the recommendation of the NJC and in line with with Section 271 Subsection 5 of the 1999 constitution as amended.
