Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo state today departed with president Muhammadu Buhari for New York, for the 72nd Session of the United Nations General Assembly..
The theme for this year's Debate is: "Focusing on People: Striving for Peace and a Decent Life for All on a Sustainable Planet."
Akeredolu and President Buhari will join other world leaders at the welcome reception to be hosted by the UN Secretary General, Antonio Guterres, and later attend a lunch meeting with President Donald Trump.
Also on the trip with Akeredolu are his Zamfara, and Ebonyi states counterparts, Abudulaziz Yari, Dave Umahi.
