Dr Niran Ikuomola, Permanent Secretary of the Ondo State Hospital Management Board who was kidnapped has been released.
A source who does not want to be named because he is not authorized to speak to the press on the matter confirmed his release to SUNSHINE HERALD.
"I can confirm to you that he has just been released," the source said.
Ikuomola was kidnapped alongside his driver on Sunday evening along Lokoja/Abuja expressway.
The kidnappers demanded a ransom of 70 million naira when they contacted his family.
They later reduced the ransom to N20 million after series of negotiations with family members.
Although, the Police authority in the state could not confirm the news as at the time of filing in this report.
