Some Heartbreaking toilet facts * 1 billion people in the World practice open defecation. *6 out of every 10 African don't have access to good toilets. * People have more access to a mobile phone than to a good toilet. * 1,000 children died per day from diarrhoeal diseases due to poor sanitation in 2013. In the Quest to reduce these numbers drastically, drive the advocacy for better sanitation practices,putting a spotlight on how to maintain existing sanitation facilities. Young people are the major drivers and most affected by the above mentioned statistics. The Toilet for Africa Project is tasked with driving down those numbers over the next 5 years. Establishing Hygiene Clubs in Secondary schools across Africa.
