An Akure Chief Magistrates' Court yesterday sentenced a prophet with one of the white garment churches, Waleola Sunday, to three years imprisonment without an option of fine for defiling male children in his neighbourhood.
Sunday, who claimed to be employed as a prophet in a Cherubim and Seraphim Church at Okearo Street in Akure, the state capital, has a penchant for seducing male students and sucking their manhood until they discharged sperm in his mouth. Sunday said it was not the first time he was doing that.
In his confessional statement tendered before the court, the 32-year-prophet said he had defiled more than four male students before men of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) arrested him earlier in the month. According to him, he normally goes to public schools during break hour, approach the male students and seduce them.
He would take them into the nearest bush; put their manhood into his mouth. He said he would allow the student to go back to his class once he discharges into his mouth.
Sunday, who blamed the act on the devil, told his interrogators that he did not know what usually come over him each time he was sucking the male victims.
The convict added that he would come to his senses after he completed the act. The magistrate, V. W. Bob-Manuel, sentenced him to three years imprisonment without an option of fine.
