Ondo State Governor Arakunrin Oluwarotimi Akeredolu ,SAN, has described former Lagos State Governor Asiwaju Bola Tinubu as a rare patriot whose contributions to human capacity is worthy of emulation.
Governor Akeredolu who spoke at the 9th Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu Colloquium as part of activities marking his 65th birthday held in Lagos, congratulated the former Lagos State Governor for all his accomplishments for Lagos and Nigeria in general.
Arakunrin Akeredolu said Senator Bola Tinubu is an untiring leader who believes in pursuing a worthy course, urged every politician to emulate his exemplary sterling qualities of selfless service.
Akeredolu said the 9th Bola Tinubu Colloquium with the title "Make it in Nigeria- Use what we make; Make what we use" , was very apt at this time Nigeria is in dire need of other means of revenue sources to get out of recession.
Also speaking, President Muhammadu Buhari represented by the Minister of Interior Abdullahi Danbasau who congratulated Senator Bola Tinubu on his 65th birthday described him as a committed and pragmatic progressive.
He said the theme of the colloquium is timely stressing that the Federal Government is on course in promoting local contents and the need to patronize Nigerian made products.
In his key note address, the Chief of Air Staff. ,Air Marshall Saadiq Abubakar harped on the need to patronise local contents in line with President Buhari Administration"s agenda. He noted that the Nigerian Airforce has taken giant strides at avioding over bloated cost of maintaining aircrafts on its fleet.
In his response, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu who attributed all his achievements to God Almighty, said the task before every Nigerian is to reposition Nigeria and make it a better country for all.
Young Entrepreneurs in diverse sectors of the nation's economy each made presentations in their respective areas of businesses at the occasion.
