The Ilaje Local government chairman, Hon. Agunola Omomowo is dead.
Speaking with our correspondent on the telephone, the state publicity secretary of the party ,Banjo Okunomo said he died in Akure, the state capital.
The PDP spokesman confirmed that he slumped at his hotel room and later gave up the ghost on the way to the hospital.
"Yes,we heard of his death this morning at his hotel room in Akure ,where he slumped but before getting to the hospital ,we discovered there was not life in him again,It was very unfortunate"
His body has since been deposited at the morgue.
He described the late Council chairman as a patriotic and dedicated son of Ilaje man,who always committed to his mission and vision.
The late Omomowo was the supervisor for Education in Ilaje local government, before his was elected as the chairman of the local government on March 24 2016 council poll.
