They also claimed that over 5000 former PDP members are now in APC.
The former commissioners are Mrs Kehinde Momoh (Adult, Technical and Vocational Education) and Mr. Tayo Oluwatuyi (Local government and Chieftaincy Affairs).
Others are former members of the state House of Assembly, Bamido Omogbehin and Oyebo Aladetan, as well as former LG bosses – Prince Olu Falolu, Tobi Akinlalu, Bailey Arohunmolase.
Other former political office holders under the present government who jumped ship include Kasali Obanoyen, Chief Ajani Oladipupo, Mr Yele Akinya and Segun Ogodo.
Speaking on behalf of defectors, Arohunmolase explained that their reason for joining the APC was due to failed promises of the PDP led government in the Ondo state.
Arohunmolase said they are set to work with the APC to win the governorship election scheduled for November this year.
State Chairman of the APC, Isaac Kekemeke, at a ceremony held at the party secretariat in Akure, described the defection as "the end of PDP's hold" on the politics of Ondo state.
Kekemeke promised to give all members equal right and level playing field to achieve their desires.
Reacting, Ondo State Publicity Secretary of the ruling PDP, Banji Okunomo described the action of the former PDP members as good riddance to bad rubbish.
He added that the defectors would be disappointed when they get to the APC.
