The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, was on Tuesday afternoon served court papers over a case instituted by the running mate to Abubakar Audu, the late APC standard bearer in the Kogi inconclusive election, James Faleke.
He filed the law suit at the Federal High Court in Abuja, seeking that he be declared as governor-elect following the death of the late Audu, same day their election was declared inconclusive.
It would be recalled that shortly after the All Progressives Congress, APC, leadership announced the choice of the second runner up in the party's August primaries, Yahaya Bello, as the replacement for Audu, Faleke vowed to challenge the decision in court.
