Okada rider bites off student's finger in Benue

In a very bizarre incident, a motorcycle rider in Benue bit off a student's finger during an argument over jerrycan.

According to Leadership reports, this incident happened at Rain Oil filling station in High-level area of Makurdi, Benue State. The Okada rider and student were reportedly having a disagreement over a jerrycan.

The scuffle began when the okada rider, simply referred to as Agergba came to purchase fuel and proceeded to steal a jerrycan belonging to the student whose name was given as Terfa Bumkeng.

Eyewitness accounts revealed that Bumkeng lost his jerrycan during a scramble for fuel and eventually found it in the hands of Agergba. One thing led to another and the altercation became a big fight which led to the cyclist attacking the student's finger with his teeth.

The incident attracted the attention of passersby and other customers who beat the cyclist to coma. The matter was reported to the police.

The student has been arrested while Agergba is being treated for injuries sustained when the mob attacked him.
