Group Seek to Awake Hope for Inmates |Photos

In a bid to rub minds with inmates and top management of Badagry Prison, Hope for Youth Development in Africa [HYDIA]team embarked on a courtsey visit to Badagry prison on August 12, 2015.
The visit was to mediate with the inmates, encourage them at the same, do a run down check of inmates that are on light bails that can be assisted by the organisation and set free.
According to the Executive Director, HYDIA, Comrade Ajibike Taofeek, "the greater ignorance towards a country is not ignoring what its politicians have to say, it is ignoring what the inmates in its prisons have to say, We believe there is life after Prison [whether alive or dead]. Hope must not be lost and that is what HYDIA is all about,seeing hope when hearts begin to fail."
During the visit, HYDIA executive went into deliberations with the prison management to seek advise on how the organisation can add their quota in the management of the Prison for better livelihood of the inmates. 
At the same time, HYDIA team were on ground to assist the inmate with a few items for their use.
Over 400 inmates were reached at the Prison centre.
