The students who lamented concerning the evil, callous acts perpetrated by the Management and Staffs of the College with a deliberate attempt to make learning unbearable and more difficult for them as they are poor, indigent and impecunious. The students' who suffer in silence can no longer bear the pain anymore as numerous evil and callous acts need to be put to an end. The students complained of numerous intimidation and oppression with series of academics threat by the Management if there is any attempt to reveal their evil acts.
A student of the institution who preferred to be anonymous said " We can't tolerate with how the management of this school has been siphoning funds, looting the treasury and embezzling huge amount of money from the school coffer. Most of us now depends on menial jobs to support ourselves financially while some ladies does not have any choice anymore than to run prostitution business."
In attendance later during the protest were the Commissioner of Health, Ondo state Government, Dr. Dayo Adeyanju; Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Health; Director, Finance and Administration, Ministry of Health and retinue of aides in the Ministry. The Provost of the School of the Health Technology was reportedly said to be absconded from the protest.
The Vice President, National Affairs, Comrade Ayenuro Timileyin Gbenga has earlier written a letter dated Friday, 22nd May, 2015 with the title "Save Our Soul From Our Management and Staffs: Ondo state School of Health Technology Students Cries Out: Exposes Managements' Evil Acts."
