President Goodluck Jonathan on Wednesday, January 14, commissioned a cenotaph in honour of all Nigerian soldiers slain by Boko Haram since 2011.
Jonathan commissioned the cenotaph at the Nigerian Military Cemetery in Abuja while senior members of the army looked on.
A cenotaph is an "empty tomb" usually built to remember people who died during a war and whose bodies are buried elsewhere.
