Labour Party Governorship candidate in Ekiti State, Opeyemi Bamidele, has urged the All Progressives Congress–led government in the state not to interfere in the trial of those alleged to have murdered a member of his party, Mr Foluso Ogundare.
Ogundare, a close ally of Bamidele, was allegedly killed by suspected members of APC in Emure Ekiti on November 3, 2013 during a ward meeting.
A serving member of House of Assembly and member of APC , Kehinde Boluwade and six others are presently being tried at the Ekiti State High Court over their alleged involvement in the murder.
In a statement in Ado Ekiti on Tuesday by his media Aide, Ahmed Salami, Bamidele said Governor Kayode Fayemi and members of his party had not shown remorse over Ogundare's death.
