MH370 families march to Malaysian Embassy in Beijing

More than 300 relatives and friends of missing Flight MH370 passengers are marching on foot to the Malaysian Embassy in Beijing to express their anger and frustration with Malaysian authorities, after police prevented them from leaving their hotel in buses.

Family and friends of the Chinese passengers have been staying at the Lido Hotel, near Beijing's International Airport, since the airliner vanished more than two weeks ago.

"It's rather unusual having people walking through the streets protesting," Beijing journalist Connie Young told CNN's Anderson Cooper.

On Monday, Malaysia's prime minister announced that Flight MH370 ended in a remote part of the Indian Ocean. A relative at the Lido Hotel said Malaysian Airlines informed them by text message that the lives of all on board the plane had been lost.
