Former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose, will now have another chance to return to the Ako-Ekiti Government House later in 2014.
The politician, on Saturday, emerged winner of the primary conducted by the national leadership of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, for all its aspirants, following difficulty in persuading its 16 aspirants in picking a consensus candidate for the poll.
Fayose polled a total of 462 votes to beat others.

Voided Ballots: 4 votes
Magareth: 1 vote
Caleb Olubolade: 7 votes
Prince Clement Adeyeye: 3 votes
Ayodele Fayose: 462votes
Ex-Governor Peter Odili served as the Returning Officer for the primary.
