The National Chairman of the ruling Peoples' Democratic Party, PDP, Bamanga Tukur, has finally bowed to pressure. A source informed Aproko247 that Tukur voluntarily resigned as Chairman of the party on Wednesday morning in Abuja.
"Tukur has finally agreed to step down as the PDP National Chairman," the source told this magazine.
President Goodluck Jonathan is set to announce this development to the National Caucus of the party, which meets on Wednesday night in Abuja.
Members of the National Executives Council, NEC, will meet on Thursday in Abuja.
