ACE host First JAMB Technical Meeting

Nigerians have been implored to exhibit unflinching commitment in
whatever they do for the overall improvements and development of
Education in the country the Register and Chief Executive of Joint
Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Prof. 'Dibu Ojerinde gave
this admiration at the first technical meeting on 2013/2014 admission
to Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE), National Diploma (NID)
awarding institutions at Adeyemi College of Education Ondo, Ondo State
last week Tuesday.

Ojerinde said it is through Education that the future development of
the Nigerian child in terms of human capital Development can be
achieved. He said quality education will enable children to acquire
appropriate skills and technology that will lead to the sustainable
development of the country.

He also made known at the event that all admissions will come to an
end by 31st of October, 2013, and urged them to adhere strictly to the
date as late submissions will not be entertained.

In his own remark, the provost of the college, Prof. Adeyemi Idowu
said the recent introduction of computer based Examination is one
giant stride which will drastically reduce the spate of Examination
malpractice.

Representing the State Governor Dr. Olusegun Mimiko was the
Commissioner for Education Arch. Adejuyigbe gave kudos to Prof.
Ojerinde for the positive transformation he had brought to the board
and making it effective

The importance of education in the society can't be over emphasized;
in line with this belief education which is the bedrock of any
meanfull development in the world is part of the major sector this
administration focused on.

Education should be seen as moral training gearing towards good
character in an individual, effort has been made to improve education
in the state.
