Ice Prince, Wizkid, Sarkodie and a number of popular Nigerian artistes were recently nominated for BET awards, Best International Act (African Category).
Also nominated for the same category include Lira(South Africa), Mokobe (Mali) and Camp Mulla (Kenya).
Last year, the same category witness the likes of D’Banj and Tuface (Nigeria), Fally Ipupa (Congo), Angelique Kidjo (Benin), Teargas (South Africa) and D-Black (Ghana). The award was shared by Tuface and D’Banj.
Wizkid and Ice Prince will be gracing the Red Carpet alongside the likes of Beyonce, who has six nominations, Kanye West with seven nominations and Jay Z who has five nominations.
The awards will be happening on the 1st of July, 2012.
