Aiyedatiwa assigns portfolios to newly inaugurated Commissioners

Ondo State Governor, Hon. Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa, has officially assigned portfolios to the 16 newly inaugurated Commissioners, marking a crucial step in the consolidation of his administration's agenda for good governance and accelerated development across the state.

The portfolio assignments, released on Monday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, reflect a strategic distribution aimed at enhancing service delivery in critical sectors.

According to the announcement, the commissioners and their respective portfolios are as follows:

Professor Igbekele Ajibefun – Ministry of Education
Engr. Ayorinde Abiola Olawoye – Ministry of Infrastructure, Lands and Housing
Hon. Ayodele Akande – Ministry of Water Resources and Public Sanitation
Engr. Alabi Johnson – Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources
Alhaji Amidu Takuro – Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs
Otunba Adewale Akinlosotu – Ministry of Regional Integration and Diaspora Relations
Mr. Idowu Ajanaku – Ministry of Information and Orientation
Dr. Seun Abosede Osamaye – Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development
Dr. Tob Loko – Ministry of Environment
Mr. Olaolu Akindolire – Ministry of Budget and Economic Planning
Hon. Sunday Olajide – Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development
Mr. Omoyofunmi Segun Henry – Ministry of Youths and Sports Development
Pastor Bola Ademuwagun – Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Cooperatives
Engr. Leye Akinola – Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry
Dr. Banji Awolowo Ajaka – Ministry of Health
Hon. Adesoji Afolabi – Ministry of Culture and Tourism
The Governor had sworn in the commissioners earlier on Monday, urging them to uphold transparency, diligence, and commitment to the state's development objectives.

With these appointments, Governor Aiyedatiwa's administration is expected to intensify efforts toward achieving its goals of economic transformation, human capital development, and improved quality of life for all residents of the state.
