Renowned broadcaster Bisi Ajiboye, popularly known as Sogigun, has shared how the Chief Press Secretary to Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, played a crucial role in saving an orphan's life in Akure.

Ajiboye, in a heartfelt post on his Facebook page on Sunday, recounted the desperate situation that led him to seek help.

He revealed that during the recently concluded Ramadan fast, a friend reached out to him about a young orphan in dire need of medical assistance.

The girl had been abandoned and was suffering from a deteriorating wound on her left leg, requiring a life-saving amputation that would cost one million naira (N1m).

"I visited the girl to confirm the situation, and I couldn't hold back my tears. The pain she was enduring was unimaginable, and I felt helpless," Ajiboye wrote. Determined to find a solution without exposing the girl to public embarrassment, he reached out to several contacts but received little response.

In a last attempt, he messaged Prince Ebenezer Adeniyan, seeking assistance from the state government. To his surprise, the response was swift, and arrangements were made for the necessary surgery.

"His quick response amazed me. Fast forward, the operation was successfully carried out last Tuesday. Glory be to Almighty Allah," Ajiboye wrote.

Expressing deep gratitude, he prayed for Adeniyan, saying, "You will never beg to live your glorious life, and you will live long to fulfill your destiny. Your children will never experience pain of any kind."

Ajiboye also urged well-meaning individuals to continue supporting the orphan, inviting those willing to help to reach out privately.
