Two persons were feared dead on Friday when a motorcyclist and a passenger ran into a faulty truck along High Court area of Akure , the Ondo state capital.
While the motorcyclists died instantly, the passenger died in a nearby hospital.
This infuriated the motorcyclists who set the truck ablaze.
They were angered by the death of the two persons.
This did not go down well with the truck drivers who protested against the action of the motorcyclists on Saturday.
They blocked the high court road to demonstrate their anger.
In the meantime, government officials have moved to the scene to prevent the protest from degenerating.
The Senior Special Assistant to Governor Rotimi Akeredolu on Security Matters, Jimoh Dojumo said those who burnt the truck will be exposed.
