Ondo State Government has reiterated it's resolve and determination to pay the outstanding salaries and winning bonuses of Sunshine F.C towards making them perform optimally in the second round of Nigeria Premier League.
Giving this assurance yesterday was Ondo State Deputy Governor, Hon Lucky Aiyedatiwa when he paid an unscheduled visit to the Team after it's training sessions at the Akure Sports Stadium.
Aiyedatiwa further charged them to be ready to fight to get the needed points that the club needs to recover from disappointment of the first round of the League.
In his words, "l want you to be well focus and concentrate on your trainings in order that you come out victorious in all your outings" .
"We are aware you are being owned some backlogs of salaries and other entitlements which would be addressed in no distant time... we would do everything humanly possible to support you to excel in the League" , he further said.
Speaking on the Deputy Governor's visit, the Team Manager, Tokunbo Akinyelure described Aiyedatiwa's visit as timely, nothing that his soul lifting messages was greatly appreciated.
He further called for the need to address the welfares of the players and the Technical crew as a matter of urgency.
The Technical Adviser, Gbenga Ogunbote and the Team captain, Sunday Abbey also spoke in similar vein, thanking the Deputy Governor for his visit and support.
