The National Association of Nigeria Students (NANS) has given the company that owned the truck that killed students of Adekunle Ajasin University, Akungba Akoko, seven days to pay compensation to their families
The accident in the university community involving a truck killed many people including some students of the University recently.
The truck is said to be to be owned by Africa's richest man .
NANS President, Sunday Asefon told journalists in Akure, that though the compensation cannot bring back the victims but must be done to assist their families.
He noted that the association has also declared the company's truck persona-non-grata, 1000m away from any of the campuses located along any high way in the country.
Asefon called on the state government as a matter of urgency to divert trailers to be plying alternate routes like, Ipele-Isua-Erusu road to put a lasting solution to such bad occurrence.
He also urged the school management to immortalise the students that lost their lives in the sad event.
