A 28-year-old serial thief, Francis Sunday has been paraded alongside 33 other suspects by men of the Ondo State Police Command at the police headquarters in Igbatoro road, Akure, the state capital.
The Hope Metro gathered that Sunday has been stealing things in Ondo State and its environment, before he stole from Ilesa.
Sunday, who spoke with The Hope Metro said: "I have been stealing things for some time from different places. But this time I stole from Ilesa.
One of his customers, Yemisi Adedun, who is a fruit seller in one of the shopping plazas in Akure, said she bought the generator from the man for N20,000, including 24 yards material at N8,000 and a Blood Pressure kit at N5,000, which she paid twice to the man.
According to the 35-year-old woman, the man was an old co-tenant and an okada rider, claiming that he brought the materials and generator for her to sell.
She said it was the first time he was bringing them to her.
Men of the Ondo State Police Command said the suspects would soon be charged to court.
